THOMAS HATCH of Sellinge and Tenterden, Kent, England, was born probably 1525. he was churchwarden at Tenterden in 1565. THOMAS died intestate before Oct. 13, 1568, when the administration of his estate was granted to his widow. He married about 1552, JOANE, whose last name is not known.
JOANE married second, before Oct. 25, 1574, Richard Brissenden. The account of JOANE HATCH, alias
Brissenden, administratrix, exhibited Oct. 25, 1574, names four daughters of THOMAS HATCH, and the names
of his three sons appear in the will of his brother. The will of his eldest son, John Hatch, of 1628/29,
names the children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren of THOMAS HATCH.
