The parish register, 1573-1584, at Thurcaston, Leicester, England, gives the baptism dates for four of
the children of RALPH ALLEN, and the burial date for a fifth. The register is missing from 1585-1593, so
it can't be proven that GEORGE is the son of RALPH, however it is widely accepted.
