EBENEZER HAWLEY was born Sep. 17, 1654, in Stratford, Fairfield, CT. It is reported that he died in 1681, before his father. But, perhaps this date is incorrect, as he is listed in the division of Compo Neck in 1682.
HESTER married second Ensign Ephraim Nichols, on Oct. 17, 1682. He was the son of Isaac Nichols. They had three children; Ignatius, Disborow and Esther. Ephraim died in 1690.
HESTER married third Eliphalet Hill, on Nov. 16, 1691. They had two children; William and Eliphalet. Eliphalet died in 1695.
HESTER married fourth Robert Lord, on Jan. 20, 1696, and had five children; Mary, Abigail, Sarah,
Robert and Ebenezer.
