JONATHAN FULLER had land holdings in that part of Rehoboth, Bristol, MA, known as the North Purchase, and which became in 1694, Attleboro. In 1668, he shared, as did his father, in a division of that Purchase, and served in the new town as selectman in 1698, was a member of an inquest in 1698, and was on Trial Jury in 1699. It is stated that he received shares in land at Rehoboth from 1661 until 1676, when the town was destroyed by Indians. Three of his sons settled in Connecticut. He undoubtedly saw service in King Philip's war, in which two of his brothers were slain.
Although a rich land owner, JONATHAN has but few recorded deeds. There are none in Essex County.
He left no will, but an administration was granted upon his estate in Rehoboth, Apr. 6, 1709.
