SHUBAEL spelled his name Dimmuck. He was an Ensign of the militia company and referred to in the records as Ensign SHUBAEL DIMMOCK. SHUBAEL was a resident of Yarmouth (Cape Cod) MA, and deputy to the general court in 1685-86 and 1689. He was selectman in 1685 and 1686.
He moved to Mansfield, Tolland, CT in 1693, one of the pioneers of that town. His name appears as one of six founders, engraved on the dedication tablet on the First Church of Mansfield. In Mansfield, he was known as Deacon Dimmuck. His death occurred in Mansfield, Oct. 29, 1732, when he was 90 years old.
