JONAS WESTOVER was born in 1628 (sometimes 1640 or 1641) in Taunton, Somerset, England. He lived in Killingworth, CT after immigrating to New England, then moved to Windsor, Hartford, CT, and later to Simsbury, CT, where he died.

In his will dated 09-20-1702, he names two sons, Jonas and Jonathan, and five of his daughters, Margaret, HANNAH, Jane, Mary and Joanna.
