SARAH WILSON was the grandaughter of Rev. THOMAS HOOKER of Hartford. She married first, Paul Batt. After his death, she married JOSIAH TORREY on May 5, 1680, in Medfield, Norfolk, MA.
He was deputy to the General Court and Clerk of the Court for many years and resided at Medfield and
other places in Massachusetts, and finally in Mansfield, Tolland, CT, where he died Oct. 30, 1732.
