The following biographical information has been extracted from The NEHG Register, Vol. 175, No. 3 (Summer 2021):

For many years, the prevailing opinion was that the wife of THOMAS MEAKINS was the sister of THOMAS BELL, born 1606/07. This was dispelled in 2003 when evidence was found that the wife of THOMAS MEAKINS was KATHERINE GREENE, daughter of HENRY and ELEANOR GREENE.

THOMAS MEAKINS was born about 1609 at Thorpe Achurch, a village in Northamptonshire. He came to America with his parents, probably in 1633 aboard the Griffin. He was admitted to the Boston church Mar. 30, 1634, and was made freeman May 25, 1636.

SARAH died Jan. 21, 1650/51, during the childbirth of her son, John. She was buried Jan. 25, 1650/51, in Roxbury, Suffolk, MA, where the church records say,

THOMAS MEAKINS married second, Elizabeth Tulston, on Feb. 14, 1650/51, in Roxbury. She died May 12, 1683.
