JOHN ETON died between Jan. 4, 1547/48, when his will was executed, and Nov. 22, 1548, when it was proved. His wife is unknown.
According to his will, he was to be buried in the "churchyard of Rowyington." His large estate was
divided among his many heirs. He also provided for the poor, and gave money for the reparation of
several churches, and for reparation of specific roads and bridges.
