WILLIAM CLARK had two wives with the name SARAH. He married his first wife in Dorchester, Suffolk, MA, about 1635. They were admitted to the church in Dorchester in 1636, and resigned from the church in 1666 to move to Northampton, Hampshire, MA. Their children were born in Dorchester. SARAH died at Northampton Sep. 6, 1675, and is buried at the Bridge street Cemetery there.
The second wife, also Sarah, was married first to Lt. Thomas Cooper, of Springfield, Hampden, MA. He
was killed at Springfield on Oct. 5, 1675. She then married WILLIAM CLARK.
