The first record of JOHN STUDLEY is Dec. 8, 1659, when his son Jonathan was born in Boston. Shortly after his second son, BENJAMIN, was born, the family moved to Scituate where, on September 19, 1661, he was a party to an agreement to build and maintain fencing on his property line.
ELIZABETH LAPHAM was born in Tenterden, Kent, England and came to America, with her family, in 1634.
They sailed from Sandwich, in Kent.
