Karl (Charles) Peterson (1876-1955) Charles came to America from Sweden, arriving in Duluth, MN, where he worked as an engineer. Later, in St. Paul, he worked on large stone projects, including the building of the Minnesota state capitol building. In Detroit, he worked on construction of the J. L.
