AANUND TORKJELLSSON and was sheriff at Holtan, and in 1592 he was named "sheriff of Brunkeberg district." He was on the tax rolls of Lundevall in 1593, but must have died before 1611, as only GUDVE is mentioned as boarding soldiers during the Kalmar War (1611-13). Certainly he was dead by 1626 when his estate was settled.
His son and grandson were sheriffs at Lundevall, and by 1671 Lundevall became known as "lensmannsgard" (sheriff's farm).
AANUND and GUDVE are the progenitors of three different ancestral lines of SIGRID AANUNDSDOTTER (DRANGSTVEIT).
