RICHARD WEBB was the first generation in America. He came from England to Cambridge, Middlesex, MA, in 1626. He was a freeman in Boston, a632. In 1635, he moved to the banks of the Connecticut River, and settled in Newtown (later Hartford).
RICHARD married second, about 1630, Elizabeth Gregory. She died Jan. 24, 1680/81, in Norwalk,
Fairfield, CT. RICHARD died in 1676 and bequeathed all his property to Elizabeth Gregory.
