Kjetil Tjøstovson Vistad 1 inherited the whole farm after his father died. According to some documents from 1599 he was a second cousin to several people in Valle. He owned 6 tnK as allodial property both in 1615 and 1624. In addition to this he also had 2 tnK at Viken 1 and 1 tnK at Kjetilstveit. He used Viken in addition to Vistad and was written about as much at Viken as Vistad. Kjetil Tjøstovson Viken sold the deserted farm Torstveit at Skafså to Gjermund Olson Døli in 1614 for 22 rd, but he bought it back for 24 rd. In 1624 Kjetil Viken had Vistad, Viken and Kjetilstveit. Also, there was ½ tnK at Torstveit. Kjetil was a freeholder and listed among landowner freemen in the tax register from 1611 to 1629. We get to know that year that Kjetil is dead and the property divided among the heirs. He owned 9½ tnK land property, but many children survived him. It appears as if there were about 6 brorpartar [a brorpartar is one brother's share of an inheritance].

Kjetil's wife was a sister of Torkjell Kjetilstveit 2.

Olav had 4 mK at Døli in 1615. This makes it nearly certain that it was Olav Viken 3 who stayed at the farm before Tarjei and Talleiv (Jordet?).

Viken is not mentioned in the lensrekneskapane [tax register] anymore after Kjetil died. Other sources name Olav at the farm. It was a son, Olav Kjetilson Vistad 2d who took over. He had allodial property at Døli (4 mK) and Spokkeli (1½ mK) in 1624. We would like to believe from this that he earlier had lived at N.Kleivi 3. He would have received this allodial land from his wife (Bilstad 2f) who inherited it in a probate at Aslestad in 1630.
