ISRAEL RUST, baptized in Hingham, Plymouth, MA, Nov. 12, 1643, removed to Northampton, Hampshire, MA, when a young man and there married, Dec. 9, 1669, REBECCA CLARK, daughter of Lieut. WILLIAM and SARAH (SLYE) CLARK. On Dec. 8, 1678, ISRAEL took the oath of allegiance, and Mar. 30, 1690, he took the freeman's oath, in Northampton.
He died intestate Nov. 11, 1712, and his estate was settled by "Articles of agreement made by Rebecca
Rust, widow & Relect of Israel Rust, deceased, and Nathaniel and Israel, Jonathan and John Rust and
Samuel Allin and Robert Danks with respect to the estate of the said Israel Rust, Deceased their honored
father."
