It was Trond Sondreson Svalastoga (ca.1645-Sk.1709) from Vinje who got to use Skredtveit after Svein died. He was married to Gunhild Sveinsdtr Skredtveit 6d and inherited the farm with her. By means of the first probate they received 1 tnK in the farm and ½ tn 2 notK in Paradis. Bjug Snarteland complained at the probate in 1686 and it was resolved in this manner that Trond got all of Skredtveit in return for paying Bjug 70 rd. Trond had supported his mother-in-law Asgjerd until she died. In addition, he had paid 260 rd in debt after Svein died.

The lawsuit in 1686 shows that Trond Sondreson had allodial property in Skredtveit. He was a descendent of Olav Halvorson Moghus in Fyresdal who bought 2 markebol of the farm of Halvor Torjusson. The document does not have any date of the report, but is probably from around 1600.

Trond was the church guardian in Mo 1676 to 1678. He bought in 1676 one-fourth of the farm from Åvold Ringestoga and his siblings, they were children of Gunnar Åse.

There was a probate held after Gunhild Sveinsdtr died in 1693. The property was 2 tnK in Skredtveit, 2 tn 1 mK in Edland with Gjesløs, 1/2 tnK in Tveiten in Grungedal, 1/2 tnK in Everland in Grungedal and 1 tnK in Rui in Grundedal. There were several hundred rd in outstanding claims, silver for over 70 rd, equipment and copper kettles. All 900 rd was in addition to the land property and there was almost no debt. An especially wealthy estate.

His son Odd Trondson married Åse and we find from 1691 that his father Trond Skredtveit used Åse 16 some years. He probably had land at both the farms simultaneously. Trond Åse experienced in 1684 an unfortunate event which is described under Åse. He happened to kill a soldier by name Siver Knutson. Trond was acquitted, but had to pay 40 lodd [1 lodd = 14.6246 grams] silver to father of the dead one. We find him after that back at Skredtveit . Probate after Trond died was held in 1709. The ownership was all of Skredtveit, 1 tnK in Everland, Strømstøyl under Tveit in Grungedal and 5 quarter tnK in Tveit. The value was over 1084 rd and Trond was almost debt-free.

Svein Trondson Skredtveit 7b (1669-Sk.1750) got to use the farm for a time while his father stayed at Åse. Svein and his brother Odd exchanged land in 1698 with their father so that he got what they had at Skredtveit and Tveiten in Grungedal for 2 tn 1 mK at N.Edland in Gjeslaus. This they sold the same year to Olav Jonson Nedregarden Haukeli for 202 rd. In 1701 Svein came with his father to write a contract with Johan Arnolt about the timber at the farm, but not long after Svein and his wife Åse Halvorsdtr moved to Åse 21.

Olav Åvoldson Snarteland from Fyresdal married the widow Tone Olavsdtr N.Åmli 5 before 1669. He received a property deed in 1669 from Olav Kjetilson Veum and Aslaug and Margit Persdøtre of 1 tn 2 mK in N.Veum for 330 rd. It was Alv N.Åmli 4 who had purchased the land. The same year Olav obtained a mortgage for 1 tnK on Kleivi in Fyresdal from Bjørguv Bendikson for 160 rd.

Olav traded in 1672 with Høye Moen in Rolandstrand and obtained 2 tnK with a lease on 3 tnK in N.Bergland for 2 tnK in Verpestøyl and ½ tnK in Hammaren. In addition he paid him 140 rd. Thus they came to N.Bergland 10 and their oldest son and heir Halvor Alvson N.Åmli 4a (1657-1728?) got the farm. He [Halvor] also used Skafså 9 some years.

The wife of Halvor was Margit Jonsdtr Åse 11b (1655-1727). For a time they moved to Åse 15, but went back after a couple of years.

Halvor is believed to have had a problem with his finances. He owed money to Adelar in 1693. In 1698 he mortgaged the farm to Johan Arnolt for 143 rd. The year after he got a contract with his brother Vetle about the distribution of the inheritance. Halvor should then get Åmli, Skafså, Gausbu and Selstad, about 3½ tnK.

The brother of Odd Åse 19, Svein Trondson Skredtveit 8 (1669-Sk.1750), was a tenant farmer of half of the farm after Olav Åse 17 died. He received a property deed in 1702 from Olav Talleivson N.Håtveit for 350 rd. In addition he received the meadow on the southern side of Åse near Traståker and Kyrkjemark and the Bastestoge fields, Flokket and Haugeflokket for 53 rd. Svein would have the summer pastures Myklestøyl, Listøyl, Stavli Midstøyl, Stutebu and half of Tveito.

Svein was married to Åse Halvorsdtr N.Åmli 8c and had with her farming rights to the farms. In 1710 they sued Guri Jonsdotter for use of Åse. Her legal guardian, Olav Håtveit, affirmed that the farm was a good two-man farm which could feed 14-15 cattle and goats and sheep. The judgement was that Guri had to to accept 465 rd for her part of the farm, Svein was a tenant farmer of all Åse. The court indicated that the woods at the farm of Guri were extremely overcleared. Therefore, she got nothing for the use of the house.

Svein Trondson was a church warden in Mo 1709 to 1711 and bought allodial and farming rights to half of the farm of Torjus Halvorson in 1726. He bought Kvarvet 8 from the common people in 1728 for 120 rd and he used the farm in addition to Åse. Olav Halvorson N.Åmli [8b] petitioned his brother-in-law for the alodial rights to half the farm in 1726, but he sold the rights the same year. In 1730 Jon Oddson came from Groven and he wanted to have alodial rights, but he got nowhere. Probate was held after Svein and his wife Åse died in 1750. There was silver of over 40 rd, many large copper kettles and land at Åse (3 tnK), N.Håtveit (5 quarter tnK) and Ringestoga (½ tnK). There was certainly 735 rd to divide for the children.

It was everyone in Mo who bought the church and the church land in 1724. They sold in 1728 to Svein Trondson Åse 21 for 120 rd. Svein used Kvarvet then until his son Olav Sveinson Åse 23 took over. He used both the farms together.
