Talleiv Halvorson Skafså 11a (1688-Sk.1749) got the use of a part of the farm called Nedre Skafså from about 1717. He lived first at Viken 11 and had used the farm for 3 years according to the 1718 prestemanntalet [parson's census]. After his father moved to Seltveit, he got all of Skafså.

The wife of Talleiv was Birgit Gjermundsdtr N.Vistad 2g (1692-1779). By means of the probate in 1749 after Halvor [sic, Talleiv] died she owned 2½ tnK at Skafså. The woods were so much thinned out the valuation of the farm was set down at 50 rd. The estate had also 1 tn 4 mK at Seltveit, so there was still large wealth. With personal property there was a total of 1565 rd to divide.

The widow Birgit Talleivsdtr [Birgit Gjermundsdtr?] used the farm many years before she let her son have it. There was a probate held after her death at Viken in 1680 [sic, 1779] where she had a mortgage on Viken and a net worth of 340 rd.

The children of Olav Reindal 10 had used Haugehåtveit about 15 years by the time that there was probate after he died in 1720. It was the second oldest son, Sondre Olavson Reindal 10b, who then got Haugehåtveit. In 1728 there is a written property deed from the joint heirs for 1 and 3 quarter tn 1-1/3 notK on the farm for 394 rd.

The wife of Sondre was Gunhild Sveinsdtr Åse 21b (1708-1739?). Their daughter Sigrid is the first who is listed in the church book for Mo in 1724. Probably she gave birth prematurely after the wedding or became deathly ill, for she paid the church in 1725. In July 1732 Sondre was intoxicated at the home of his father-in-law at Åse and he had to pay 6 rd to the poor. Sondre also received a sentence on himself in 1738 because he had cleared timber in the woods of Bjørn Skredtveit. His fine was set at 8 rd.

Probate was held after Gunhild died in 1738. She owned the entire farm, silver and copper. All of it was worth over 442 rd after the debt was paid. Gunnar Lofthus and Councillor of State Leopoldus had the majority of the claim and received land on the farm for it.

Sondre married second Targjerd Halvorsdtr. In 1754 he sold 9 setK at the farm to his son Olav for 229 rd. They themselves moved to Skålen 6 where probate was held after Sondre died in 1758.

Olav Sondreson Haugehåtveit 14b (1725-1800) married in 1747 [1745? see Skafså 12c] the widow Asgjerd Talleivsdtr Dølo 3 (1719-1804) from Skafså 12c and obtained the farm from his father not long after. Olav also received a property deed for 9 setK in 1754 for 229 rd from his father. Four years later he bought out Løvenschiod and other properties for 767 rd, but he sold the same day all of the farms to Engelbret Ressen for 1678 rd.

There was much activity centered around the farm in the years following. Olav obtained the farm back from Ressen for 1750 rd in 1763. Two years later he traded off 2 setK in Skålen to his brother-in-law Torjus Tarjeison for Austbø. On October 1, 1766, the house burned down to the ground. Olav was given tax relief for the year. Probably this was some of the reason for the financial difficulties that he is believed to have had. In 1777 there was held a bankruptcy proceeding at which Knut Bjørnson Floten in Nesland obtained the farm for 910 rd in indebtedness. Nine years later Knut lived at Skredtveit and Olav Sondreson got the farm back one more time for 910 rd. Then in 1788 he sold to his sons Halvor and Talleiv. It was not finished at that, for in 1794 Olav traded the farm to Steinar Torsteinson in exchange for Lien in Flatdal. This he sold years after for 980 rd and moved with his son [Halvor] to Kvarvet 14 where he died in 1800.

Halvor Olavson (1747-1804) came from Haugehåtveit 17 and married Guro Olavsdtr Rui 15d (1754-1837) in 1777. They lived at Haugehåtveit until they came to Kvarvet in 1798. Then Halvor gave a pension to his parents, but his father Olav Sondreson died in 1800. In 1801, his mother lived as a tenant at the farm.
