Karl (Charles) Peterson
(1876-1955)
 
Charles came to America from Sweden, arriving in Duluth, MN, where he worked as an engineer.  Later, in St. Paul, he worked on large stone projects, including the building of the Minnesota state capitol building.   In Detroit, he worked on construction of the J. L. Hudson building, and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel under the Detroit River to Canada.
 

Thea Thorstenson
(1887-1918)
 
Thea was born near Fergus Falls, MN.  Her parents came to America from Norway.   She met Charles Peterson in North Dakota, where they married, and then moved to Detroit, MI.
