2. Biographical Review of Otsego County, New York, Bio Review Pub. Co., 1873, 857 pp.
      .........   (Fred 8/10/99)

This book was referenced by Donna.  She noticed the biography on William L. Brown, and I think was especially interested in the names of his sons ... William Henry and Alonzo
There are no Lincoln biographies ... nor any other names we are researching.

3. Marriages from 1795-1875, Otsego County, New York, 3 Volumes, by G. Barber, 1932, 425 pp.
      .........   (Fred 8/10/99)

Marriage notices taken from the "Otsego Herald and Western Advertiser" and "Freeman's Journal".
I looked in particular for the marriages of Juliana Ingalls and Desire Lincoln, but found nothing.  Most of the entries were for years after our families had left Otsego County.
There were 2 Lincolns, 16 Ingalls, 19 Steeres, and about 100 Browns.  The only Lincolns were:
Lucy Lincoln  m.  Curtiss Young - 1825
Mrs. Almira H. Lincoln  m.  John Phelps, Esq. - 1831

4. Otsego County, New York, Reminiscences, by Levi Beardsley, 1852, 575 pp.
      .........   (Fred 8/10/99)

This book is really the personal memoirs of the author.  It mentions facts of history, and includes stories about friends and acquaintances of his.  But, there is no index so it is hard to find names mentioned in this book.
The author was born in 1785 and moved to Richfield in Otsego County, in 1790.  But, there is very little in the book about the first quarter of the 1800's.
